Recommendations for buying a washing machine.

Hola We're new to Pollensa & this site We'll be out in two weeks and need to buy a washing machine and wondered if anyone might recommend a model and where best to buy from?

Welcome to the forum. Confort and Electrodomésticos Reus are very good and deliver free of charge.

We have always found Confort excellent for all equipment. First class service and they speak very good English.

Try Amazon.es - better prices! Confort are good but very expensive. You can use your Amazon.co.uk log in to use but will only deliver to a Spanish address. You can use a UK bank card to pay.

Alcampo.es is a good store to visit. They deliver to some areas. Visit their on-line store, enter your postcode, and it will confirm if they deliver to your area.
If you enter a confirmed delivery postcode such as 07460 for Pollenca, the site will show you their available products.

It is quite an impressive store to visit, purely for vastness of product variety! However, large appliances are via on-line ordering only.

The after care service is excellent with confort we would nt use anyone else, can't imagine it's the same with Alcampo.

I have to agree, if you shop locally you have a really good back up service. We often use amazon/ ebay for small electronic items but would never buy big items outside of PP.
