Hi there!

We first visited Puerto Pollensa 5 years ago on a package holiday. We are returning (at last!) this summer at the end of June and doing a "DIY holiday". We have booked our flights and we are staying in the Alexia apartments, we just need to book our transfer from the airport. We are considering the Resort Hoppa shuttle bus, but because it is a busier time of year we are not sure if it is wiser to book the Speedy Service or not. Does anyone have any experience of using this at the end of June/beginning of July? Is it worth paying the extra for this service? There is a code giving 10% off at the moment.

Also would we be dropped off/picked up at the Alexia apartments or would it have to near one of the big hotels?

Hello Lousinc, I used the speedy hopper last August and couldnt fault it, we waited only 10 mins at the Airport ... only about 10 of us on a 30 seater coach (we were a party of 5). Definately would do it again during busy holiday times. We are out again next week just for a short break and I have just booked the normal resort hopper as it is a quieter time of year!! Hope this helps :)

Thank you Sparky and Emmalou for your speedy replies! That's good to know. Have a nice break out there next week.

We used the speedy service in September for Puerto Pollensa, on our pick up from Palma we had quite a long wait for what I assume was the last flight in that night approx. 40 minute wait and our first drop off was in Cala San Vicente where the coach had quite a job down some of the side streets getting through, so even though we were the third drop would not have called it very speedy. The return was very good we picked up twice more after us but both were quick on route to the airport and the coach was early.

Thanks Romanb! It was good to hear another experience of the service. We will probably book it soon as there is a discount code this week. It runs out on 6th April. It is HOPEASTER if anyone is interested.

Hi I'm thinking of using the seedy hopper in July where do you wait at the airport for the transport?????????

When you are in arrivals you go to the Viajes Urbis desk. They will tell you which bus to go on, all buses are numbered. When we did the speedy service a couple of years ago there was only about 8 people on the coach.

Of course the "seedy hopper" could be something completely different!!!!! ;)

Hi Lousinc,
We have used Resort Hoppa many times, and on several ocasions been dropped off and picked up at the Alexia. It's off the main road, and it's a tight squeeze for the bigger buses, but they always get there. We always take a street map to show the driver, just to be safe. When you confirm your return journey just make sure they know where the Alexia is - maybe somebody from the Alexia can help you with this. The alternative is probably the Duva, which is at least ten minutes walk.
