Restaurant Siller

Has anyone tried this place recently? we have read good reports about it in the past and are:rollin wondering if it's worth trying when we go out to PP next Sat.

Siller is definitely worth trying! The service by Manolo is wonderful an he is so proud of the delicious food his wife Catalina prepares. The restaurant is very popular with locals but not many holiday makers know it as it is off the beaten track ..it's well worth tracking down 'tho.

Don't be put off by the rather ordinary exterior (I wish he would get rid of the awful purple curtains !) You will be in for a treat of an evening :b

Could do with some directions to this restaurant please. I have seen a sign off the main road for Siller, is it along this road?. My brother is staying in a villa in Siller this year, I presume its in this district, but there again I could be wrong.

Used to go this restaurant lots over the years but stopped going a few years back. Yes, the foods very nice, if a bit pricey. But strangely enough one of the main reasons was Manolo himself, i found him a very in-sincere person. Little things, like never, ever offering a liquer after the meal (after you've paid nearly a 100 euros for 2?) and on another occasion promising our large company a particular table, after booking, only to find it had been given to locals while we were stuck in a corner beside the tiolets. My guests didn't notice, but i knew! Turning up one night and being told the restaurant was full(ok i mayb'e should have booked, to be certain) and getting the impression he didn't give a monkeys! i could go on, but in all honesty i have found other establishments were we are treated like long lost friends, the food is every bit as good, and far more reasonable.

Thanks for your replies if we get chance to visit it I will post our comments. Truth is we have all our old favourities and it is hard to fit them all in - fun trying though!
Can't wait for Sat - PP here we come!!!!!!!!
