We ordered a meal from Bella Roma last night. Great service and food, ordered over the phone and told it would be about 20 minutes, less than 30 mins later the buzzer went, the delivery guy was fully protected with mask and gloves.

We had beef carpaccio x2, a tuna pizza and a bottle of Pinot Grigio, they charge €1.50 delivery and the total bill was €47.70. Money well spent .

We have used Finca49 three times during the lock down and been delighted everytime. Steve French produces some lovely 'themed ' meals - Indian Chinese and Mexican. Delivery is free always punctual and you pay via PayPal.

You have just set my taste buds all of a flutter. Bar Coral does the best Shoulder of lamb anywhere, A bit UK as their gravy and veg are also to die for. I used to have the normal Shoulder but my eyes were bigger than my stomach so now order the smaller one. OOH stop dreaming.

Great news that some restaurants are offering take-away/delivery services, but what is the protocol regarding payment, I know Finca 49 is via paypal, are the others credit card only or are they accepting cash?

I agree their FB post didn't state. However Google overview states open for take away only.

Yesterday a friend posted on FB about fish and chips from Al Fresco Deli, i am not a great fan and the last time i ate them was about 9 years ago but i thought it would be nice for a change. So i ordered by messenger on FB, you have to order before 2pm for the evening.
Just before the arranged time they phoned to say they were on their way and a few minutes later we were tucking in to large portions of perfectly cooked piping hot fish, chips and peas with tartare sauce, we had complimentary cake because they had to give us garden peas instead of mushy (a nice gesture but we were happy with either ), i also ordered a bottle of house white and the bill was a mere 29€, amazing value, thank you Al Fresco .
