I wondered if any Pollensa residents, especially those with homes in the countryside and no mains water, might be able to help?
Our villa has a deep borehole shared with the property next door. In recent years we have had to supplement this with a water truck, but only on rare occasions and usually not until late on in the season (typically September). This year however, because it has been so incredibly dry, the water began to run low in May! Unfortunately we also have a problem with access to the villa because it is down a very narrow country lane - the truck who used to be able to deliver to us is no longer available (think the owner retired), so now we have to have deliveries almost every week from a much smaller truck. This is costing us an absolute fortune - 800 Euros in August. Obviously moving forward we have to find a more permanent solution. Does anyone have any ideas - how much would it cost to dig a new borehole, for example (although I'm not sure there is a suitable place to put it)? Any advice would be very welcome.
