Hi all. We are returning to P.P. in early sept. for our second visit. (Hotel Daina). We plan to take the bus to Palma to join the Soller train for the lovely trip. We would like to know if it is possible to get a bus from Soller back to P.P. as it is closer than going back down to Palma and catching the bus back from there. All advice would be most welcome, we love this site and have learned so much about the area from all of you.
We are a middle aged couple and not travelling with kids.:D

You can definitely take a bus back from Port de Soller & this is a lovely way of doing the trip.

So you get the bus to Palma, train to Soller, tram to Port de Soller, Bus back to Puerto Pollensa.

See the Excursion page for more details www.puertopollensa.com/excursions.html & also the Transport page www.puertopollensa.com/transport.html#buses for Bus Times - I think the return is 15:00 but do check this out.

Enjoy the trip it's lovely & you can even have a Carajillo (coffee & brandy) on the train!

Thank you for your help. It was much appreciated and we will definatly take your advice and take the bus back from Soller.
Cant wait to get that suitcase out!!

We also thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Soller, but our excursion had the added atraction of a boat trip to Sa Colobra which is absolutely spectacular.
We travelled back to PP by coach through the mountains which is an experience not to be missed. I did get the impression that the tiniest miscalculation by the driver and we would all be dead, but I'd definitey do it again.

Without that excursion I could never have imagined what a beautiful island, and quite how varied, Majorca is.
