Read a post recently from last year where I read there was some confusion as to the church services at St Andrew - thought I would take the opportunity to clarify our service times for this season.
St Andrews is an "Anglican" - church of England style Service although our congregation is varied in denominational backgrounds and welcome everyone to our services at 9am We are in the RC church in the Square, however, our services are independent, we are a seperate congregation only share the same building. The RC service follows our English Anglican Service at 11am.
Currently their is a vacancy for "Priest in charge" as our adored Mel retired and returned to Uk at the end of last year, due to his wifes deterioating health in Mallorca. The Anclican Priest from Palma - David is available for any questions or support during this time, The vacancy has been advertised and the committee are hoping to have a new priest with us by end July - August.
All services have been covered with locum English speaking priests during the vacancy, Mell is coming over to cover the Holy Week Services and Easter. We are all looking forward to seeing him again.
I hope that this post clarifies the times and style of service and encourages you all to come and join us on Sunday am, and coffee following the service in Can Torrens beside the square.
The congregation is a "young" spiritually driven group, you will find a warm welcome, come and try over this Easter Season, no need to buy!!although I am sure you will enjoy.
Hope to see you at some of the services this Easter

Than you Sparky for posting the links, the sites are in the process of being updated, keep checking for all the latest news and events, Thank you once again

Penny, as you know we have recently had a loss in the family and her wishes were for some her ashes to be scattered in PP

Do you know if it is possible to have a short ceremony in the PP church, thanks

thanks Sparks but I see its more geared to a ceremony in palma, I know penny is a regular in pp church so maybe she can give me a bit more info on a more local thing, ta but

I think you will find that if you send an email to the address on the website and explain you want to use the PP church they will be able to help you, this is the main link Anglican Church Mallorca, if you scroll down and click on Pollensa the same info comes up. I know it's possible to have a memorial service here as i have attended a couple.
