Not too sure I would want to live next door to music being played through the night especially if they have a Sala de Fiestas licence. !!!

I’m sure they will be responsible with the music, we will probably be in there listening to it 😀 On a selfish note I hope they do have a Sala de Fiestas licence because that will mean the block won’t be classed as residential and therefore that may help us to get a tourist rental licence

Look forward to the opening as at Easter we will be in Mendez Nunez just over the road!

apparently by law you are not allowed music after 12am and the pollenca council are cracking down on this

It is forbidden by law to have music from 12am, so from this time they cannot have the music on and this is inexcusable, the Council is very strict with this.
The matter of closing timetable is nothing to do with the music license since any restaurante in town has permission to be open up to 3am, perhaps this year only until 2am. For this issue the City Council does not require permission from the Community.
this is from our administration about music after 12midnight
they can stay open until 2 am but no music after 12midnight apparently and if they need a new licence they need it to got to the whole block of apartments above them ie the community and the council as the previous owners tango only had a licence until then and is a simple transfer then to new owners

How have Chivas and Batacuda to name just two managed to ‘get away’ with music after midnight for so many years if it’s not possible to obtain a licence to do so from the Pollensa municipality?

I was thinking the same thing James, there are several establishments that have music into the early hours and have done for many years .

Would it not be no music outdoors after midnight but it is fine, with the correct license, indoors? I know that Nostalgia insist their door is closed after a certain time to prevent the music being heard outside.

I was just going to post exactly the same thing!

I'm afraid the new rule applies to Nostalgia, they now have to stop music at midnight!!

Just confirmed the opening of FB, the worked very fast to get that opened for the 30th, same name as our favourite tapas bar in Cala Ratjada
