Hi all,

I was hoping for some recommendations in or around the port for buying new terrace furniture for our apartment. We are popping over for a "maintenance" weekend at the beginning of March so don't want to have to venture too far but we really do need to have an update. Mainly an outdoor dining table and chairs and a small sofa set.

I have seen people mention a shop in the port called Living (?) before but any other recommendations would be great.

Thank you

hi we used the shop "living" on Carrer del Llevant ,she was very helpful and dealt with our factors for access when the furniture was being delivered .
its just up near the public carpark

The Plomer store (near Lidl) has a good range of patio furniture on the upper level .
We bought most of ours though from Ferreteria Llomgar in Alcudia. Despite the quite small frontage, it is a huge store and has a good range of patio furniture on the mezzanine level at the back.
Ferreteria Llomgar is just near the Mercadona supermarket in Alcudia and it has its own small car park in the street behind.

We bought some from Living store in PP which lovely. Also bought some beautiful outdoor accessories from there too. Ferreteria Vila Nova in Pollença we’re great and bought some rattan patio furniture from them. We got their details from garden magazines that were free and outside the little paper shop on Roger de Flor a couple of Easters ago. We saw they were local, ordered online and they delivered, assembled and came in a day convenient to us when we came in the summer. Hope this might help.

+1 for Ferreteria Llomgar in Alcudia. I have found them good for a lot of things.

Best to shop around though...despite wanting to support local businesses, there is a big variation in quality and prices with outdoor furniture.

Antonia who runs 'Living' is an agent for a large number of furniture makers/companies. She rarely carries any stock in the shop but has loads of catalogues and can order on-line. With their sister shop 'Relaxing' ( furniture/bedding) we have virtually furnished the whole of our apartment - deliveries are always on time and we are very happy with service and goods.
