Terrace Seating illa d’or & Sis Pins

Hello all
I have heard that The illa d’or has had to remove tables/seating from half of their terrace, does anyone know if this is correct? And if so what impact it is having if you say just want to visit for a drink not restaurant service?
Also is this connected with The Sis Pins and the Capri also not being able to use the terraces too?

Yes it’s true. Another example of the sometime stupidity of the rules here. The hotel has just moved things around so you can still visit for drinks or whatever, just not in exactly the same place. Dur!!!!!!!!

Because, invariably, they are using the spaces illegally

Agreed… it is such a shame
I would imagine if they can only use half the terrace they will prioritise dining over drinks only.. one of our favourite things to do in PP is sundowners at Illa dor and terrace seating close to the water at The Capri Sis Pins have not been able to use the terrace directly in front of them for a few years now. Doesn’t make sense?
