Has anyone stayed in any of the Thomson villas with pools in the Pollensa area - there are quite a few on a seemingly good deal for end of April, they are Ca'n Roman, Ca'n Tuqores, villa Mala Garba, Ca'n Maestranca? What weather could we expect from 25th April for a week ?

Haven't stayed in any but Thompsons have a good reputation and the standards of villas up in the north are really high generally. Don't know about Aprils weather but it's only March now and with about the exception of one overcast day it's been in the mid twenties and sunny for the last few weeks

Paulaf!

Seen that mentioned in the Sunday Times, some good deals on their villas. Doubt if pools would be warm enough at that time of the year, unless your a hardy soul:)

We were in pool first week of April last year and it wasnlt a particular heatwave type week, just pleasantly warm

I wouldn't say it was a breeze getting in ........... but once in it was fine to swim in but probably not to just laze around in ........... teanagers were in it for hours , jumping in and out and generally playing around as though it was the height of summer

Will be in PP from 19th april and fully expect to get in the pool at some point

BTW - Mr Cd ( who wasn't with us last April , so has no first hand knowledge of pool temps in April ) has just said there's no way he's going anywhere near the pool in April ............. so I guess its down to personal taste

You'd think, being a northern chap, that I would be able to withstand the chill, but I've tried a dip at Easter before!! and its bracing!! I think the size of pool and its position to catch the sun and heat up is important. Some pools will therefore be warmer than others.

Most people I have spoken to think the sea is your best bet, much warmer than you'd think at this time of year.
