Just back home from yet another fantastic holiday in PP. Very lucky to get 3 weeks this year. Wish I'd thought of doing trip reports like Simon, as all the days tend to merge into one!

Some lovely meals and great service.

1st day as always lunch at Golden Lion, Pa amb oli with ham and cheese, chicken croquets. Evening at Sparrow bar would recommend the grilled Tuna.
Thought we would try some new places this year as tend to stick to ones we know.
Tried El Meson great service and exceptional value, £35 Euro for 2, Garlic Bread, 5 tapa, 2 desserts which we changed for small beers as couldn't eat any more, free shots for us and little slush cocktails for the girls.
Booked table at Cella de Para and pre ordered the Lamb and Pork, glad we did as very full food and house red didn't disappoint.
Wanted to go to La Cabana but couldn't get table, so returned to El Meson and ordered Paella which was fantastic.
Golden Lion on a Monday for Chicken always a favourite, entertainment by Three Keys Majorcan girl very good.
Lucky to get table at La Cabana, lovely food, excellent service returned another twice but made sure to book in the morning so wouldn't be disappointed again.
Bella Roma (next door to Cella de Para) great Pizza and Pasta.
Old town went for Pizza behind church think its called Orbis? had to wait a while for table so had a wander to find small bar for drinks, nice that it had cooled a little.
Enjoyed the meet up, meeting new members and seeing Lynne again.
Having long wanting to go to El Posito eventually booked a table, one of the best meals of the holiday Cod El Posito was to die for, hubby loved his lamb and girls had sea bass. Nice to see Meerkats again and finally meet Colin with Lynne. Only disappointment of the night was walking to Gemini Bar to find it closed. Went the next night lovely seeing Colin again.
El Bistro was another first that we have been going to try and never got round to it, Sea Bass, Mushroom Risotto, Stuffed Pasta all beautiful will be back next time.
Nice meal at El Ancla very busy in the evening this year.
El Meson was great to call into for early evening beer and tapa before heading out, Bar Gemini has to be favourite. Tried new beach bar eventually when could get seats! lovely cocktails and great settings hope they get more tables next year.
Also went horse riding at Rancho Grande great night out but saddle sore next day.
Fantastic holiday very very hot, but shouldn't have complained as rain back home.

Great report! I have not tried any of your eateries except for Sparrow couple of years ago. This just goes to show that I need to bring a halt to the repeats, as I would appear to be a creature of habit. Can't wait to start exploring. Many thanks, John

Totally agree on Golden Lion and Sparrow Sunny! We will never forget making the mistake of ordering a mixed grill at GL - never seen so much food on one plate:eek: It was delicious but unfinishable;)

Just remembered another first for us Ikebana, mixed Paella ( need to pre order), massive sword fish steaks all lovely, great service.
