We have recently returned from another wonderful two weeks in Puerto Pollenca.
It was good to see the port a lot busier than it was at the same time last year.
The restaurant and bar staff made a real point of welcoming every customer particularly after the difficulties of the past 2 years. The quality and standard of the dishes were of the usual high standard.
During our 2 weeks we dined at :-
Marcs: Marc and his hard working team ensure an excellent meal with friendly service.
El Posito: Tony was as welcoming and gregarious as ever. Excellent lamb shoulder.
Centric: Jose provides a great dining experience with some classic dishes (duck confit).
Los Faroles: Husbands favourite seafood restaurant though Pepe provides excellent meat and vege options also.
Iru: Carlos and his team provide relaxed and professional dining. Nothing is too much of a problem if you want your meal cooked in a particular way or ingredients changed.
Number 31: It was really pleasing to see Alex and Juana continuing with the success of 31. A lovely young and hardworking couple.
Celler la parra: One of the best value for money restaurants in the port. Alex and the team provide a warm and friendly atmosphere. Some classic Mallorcan dishes and of course the (in) famous jarra del a casa.

We also enjoyed a few drinks (!) at Ces Monges, La Gola and the Sea bar.

And of course it was good to catch up with Lyn and Colin who were in good health and as interesting and informative as ever.

Can’t wait to return again!

Lovely Trip Report……an endangered species! Thanks so much for that. Hoping to follow in you footsteps later this month (and see Lyn and Colin too).
