Vanrell car hire discount code 2025

We've just hired a car for our November break in Puerto Pollensa. Vanrell are our 'go to hire company' - I know we all have our favourites. They have updated their website recently so it took a while longer to sort the booking out. However, on the plus side the code LL838 gave us a 10% discount on the price.

I'm not sure they meant you to share that with the 'world'!

I recently had a big problem with their new 'smart lock' system. I was probably the first to use it, as it was an utter shambles. They gave me a 25% off code for my next booking, which I managed to use for the next three bookings.

Their Smartlock system now works fine, although the carpark tickets can be very expensive to get out.

Well it was 'all change' when we went to collect our Vanrell hire car. Vanrell did send a short tiktok video showing you where you need to go now. No more going up to the 4th floor in the car park to do the paperwork & then collecting the car from the 6th floor.
This time we had to exit the terminal at Palma Airport by door no. 6 & then walk right over to the car park, and going right through to the far side on the left. We then caught sight of two Vanrell staff. Paperwork was more or less the same as before. You still have to pay for the parking ticket and this was at a grubby kiosk at the far side of the parking lot. Luckily the exit barrier sensors know that you've paid.
Then you feed into a one way system in an unknown part of the airport complex. We took it steadily, especially as it was dark and then came onto the roundabout next to the petrol station and also the motorway signs for Palma.
Delivering the car back at the end of our stay this time, we'll need to take the 'Hire car' signed exit off the motorway as we approach the airport and then take direction 'G' we were, advised. Fingers crossed eh!

Used Vanrell a few times with the new system - easy to find when you return car to airport - as you come off in the rental lane - just go slow and it’s the first left turn. Park near where you picked it up from. I’m sure there’s a video online. Very quiet when we picked our car up on Thursday evening. Just a thought - no shelter if it’s raining either picking up or dropping off. Also cost to get out of the car park is steep - €1.30 for 15 minutes! We also use hiper depending on price but assume the van to take to depot will be in the same place as Vanrell when we do. Been gardening most of the day so off to Ca’n Josep’s for dinner.

Yeah, I've used the 'new' Smartlock system a few times now and reckon I might have been the first one to use it, back in June, as I was given instructions to go to the 6th floor still.....despite sending me a photo of where the car was, with no directions to it. After calling them and getting no response, I was considering getting a taxi, when they called me and explained where it was parked. I wasn't happy!

Also I've had parking tickets of 16 euros twice, which isn't a good start.... anyway, Area G is well signposted so you should be fine.
