After been there for the last two weeks of May, i can report that the apartments are excellent and could not fault them.
A previous entry said about the noise at night and this could be a problem at night if you're placed above the bar/entertainment area. We were placed at the opposite end from this and had a peaceful time.
The pools are excellent and large enough to accomadate all residents (even if cold).
Didn't use the bar much but found it ok.
Yes there will be a lot of children at VC but with a good children's club and two entertainers from VC working 12 hours a day you can have some peace from your little ones.
Watch out for people putting out their towels on sunbeds from 7.30am, pool area gets busy.
