Well the kids had fun last night with the bouncy castle, foam party etc. There were technical probs with the music but the square was heaving.

Some crazy guys started the "Mariners Party" a day early....i could hear car horns, hooters, music and a lot of shouting......suddenly a truck, towing a trailer with a boat on it came around the corner, there were about 6 guys in sailor type fancy dress stood up in the boat just driving around the streets for about half an hour, absolutely nuts and it can only happen in Mallorca at fiesta time .

Did you manage to sleep last night Sparky, or were you strutting your funky stuff with the rest of them down in the square? I'm sure there must have been an awful lot of complaints from the holidaymakers in the nearby hotels. It was exceedingly loud with flashing lights etc, and went on til way past 5 am. Try keeping a 5 year old asleep through that!

Blimey Barefoot when did you acquire a 5 year old .

The square was absolutely bouncing and as i said when the "Party in the Square" was announced, i am soooo glad i live away from it . To be honest i could not hear a thing from here.

It was fantastic last night, locals and tourists all out in force and determined to have a good time. We had friends with us and they were well impressed, loved the Batucada and the fireworks were amazing.
Well done to everyone who organised it and a very big thank-you to the local businesses who made the fireworks possible .
