Sorry Sparky, I still see to be havng problems with access. Have I broken it already ?

PP4me, we always go to Tango on the first evening, a family tradition that has gone on for about 20 years now, always assured of a warm welcome from Manolo etc, it feels like the offical start to the holiday. The foods not bad either. Afterwards a wander round a couple of bars and if still feeling lively after an early flight on to Chivas.

Thanks for info, not sure about Chivas though, as we will have had a long day travelling + I have heard it can get a bit boistrous.

Hello everyone

Hi,
My name is Paul. I come from Swansea in Wales and have been visiting PP for the last 12yrs.

I'm now the grand old age of 50 but still have very good memories of the wonderful place.

I have stayed in the same place for all the years i have visited and that is in Gotmar just on the outskirts of the port.

This year i visit on the 23/6 till 1/7,.

If there are any meets going on i would be more than happy to attend.

I'm single, but will have my 2 teenage daughters with me, so will be looking for a little bit of me time. lol

Hi Paul,

welcome to the forum. There will be a meet-up on Thu 30th at around 11:17 at the Marina Cafe so do come along then and have some 'me' time. :)

Zelda

Hi Paul - Small world...we too are from Swansea/Mumbles (but living in Ammanford now ) and have also been going to PP for the last 12/13 years)..we fly out 2nd so will just miss you...what a shame

Hi Cath, yes i guess it is a very small world.

I live in Gowerton part of the city.

Have been booking the same private apartment all these years. Its just opposite a bar/restauraunt called the Hideaway. Can sit on the terrace of apartment and listen to music whilst having a beer. Oh, and then you can hear the rubbish playing in the Habitat a few nites a week. lol Last few years its just been me and my daughters. PP is just such a relaxing place to be.

Hi Paul and CathB.
I know a good number of people who always visit PP in July and they all come
from Swansea.....so yes!! it is a small world. My best friends from Swansea live in Mumbles and they are regular visitors to PP. Have a nice holiday!!!!!

It is a small world..especially as you hear so few "welsh" voices in the port...LOl - perhaps we should should have a Swansea get together ;)

Hi all, new to the forum. Live in Aberdeenshire and am off to Mallorca again this August. Have been twice before but always stayed in Puerto Soller (no booing at the back), now bringing the kids for 2 weeks and spending one of them in Pollensa old town.

First of our Visits this Year

Hello
We have been visiting the port for over 30 years.
Have seen many changes some very good others not worth the mention.
We left the Island on the18/07/2011 and still amazed the roadworks at Gommar still not finished. The town square is very dissapointing with no colour only wilting lavender in the flower beds.Local planners should look at the colour and flowers in Alcudia. The local council must try harder to encourage new visitors and not rely on all us regulars.Just a mention for Leo & family and staff at El Ancla trying there hardest in these difficult times.Lets hope trade improves over the rest of the season, and all the hotels and bar rest have a profitable year.
See you all in September Myra & Royl

Visiting Pollensa in a fortnight and really looking forward to it!

hola everyone.

I have been reading for a while and thought i'd make the plunge! Me and my partner have visited the last few years as my partners parents have an appartment (near multihire and swimming pool). Hopefully visiting again before the year is out with a new addition due next month. Love to move out one day.
