Which airport car hire rental?

Hi
Im trying to decide on a car hire company for our family of 3.
Click and rent is coming out very cheap and Goldcar 2nd.
Has anyone used these themselves?

Hi Booble, having used most companies we now always use Goldcar, but the queues can be quite long so depending on when you are going expect a long wait. Saying that the extra you can pay for Priority Service is well worth the extra. The cost can work out more than they quote as there is fuel and their natural habit of trying to sell full insurance to you. Their new flexi fuel policy is petty good though and depending on how much travelling around you intend doing, see previous posting, then it can work out quite cost effective. Thanks Manda. I'm tempted by the goldcar priority even though it's an extra 50 euros! Click and rent is over £100 cheaper though so I'm wondering why!
Going to get that insurance cover separate to avoid the hard sell at the counter!

We've used Click and Rent ( formerly Autos Estrellas) for many years with no problems at all. They are a smallish company off airport but have a desk on the 4th floor of the car park. Never queued more than 5 minutes, cars are collected from the 4th floor and returned there. No extras for insurance and they operate a full/full policy. If you pay by card you do not pay for the tank of petrol and only get charged if you don't return the rank full. Done that a few times and never felt I've been overcharged. Thoroughly recommended.

On our trip last week we used Vanrell found them very good, good rate too no queuing for car and fuel return the same as you take it.

I have just rented a car for 8 days for next week through economy car hire - the hire company is Centuaro just off airport - very good - £40 for 8 days!!

We always use Terry`s car hire. Straight out of the airport and across to the car park - so quick, no queues to stand in, away in a 5 minutes from entering the car park.
No brainer for us and we get our past customer discount. Definately worth a look .

Booked click & rent but was gutted as the €336 price I'd saved on my computer, jumped to €427 when I clicked to book.
My fault for hanging round on a good deal I spose !
