Which car hire companies have an office in PP?

Hi there,
we're arriving in PP in a few weeks, and will be hiring a car for 2 or 3 days. I've searched for car hire companies online, but dont seem to be having much luck in finding many companies I've heard of!
Can anyone recommend one in PP? We'll be needing to hire a child seat (age 18m), hence why I'd like a company that is recommended, as I dont want a seat that's not in good condition.

We have used Hiper in the past, very central but cannot vouch for their car seats as we did not need one. They were efficient and for a 3 day hire you returned the car back with a full tank of fuel. They understand English too.

Like Whaley, I dont have then need for child seats so cant comment on this, but have had succesful rentals with Vanrell, Formentor rent a car and Lagoon that all have offices in the Port durnig the tourist season.

With Vanrell and Formentor, I booked these online prior to arrival to the island where as lagoon was booked by visiting there office, but all proved quite smooth nd with competative prices.

Holiday Autos seems to be the most reasonable, and I believe (from other online forums) that they use Hiper, so thats grand.

Holiday Autos uses several different companies and the name will be printed on your confirmation. They use Europcar, Centauro and Hiper to name just 3 but remember all these companies have long waits to collect the car at the airport. I book my clients car hire through Motos Formentor for the personal service and you can even send them your driving license in advance so when you meet them in the airport the contract is almost complete you just pay and sign and off you go.... no queues and helpful office in PP should you need any assistance.

Thanks! We're not collecting it at the airport - we're getting it at the resort for a few days in the middle of the holiday.

We're just back and did the same, i.e booked a car for a few days mid-trip. Having looked a few prices I asked the Thomas Cook rep in the hotel we were staying in and they had in the last week got revised (downward) rates from Europcar - Seat Leon for 3 days for €142 I think, on a Full:Full basis too. Included Super excess cover too so no need for separate policy!

Won't be an option for everyone I know if travelling independently but it may be useful for some on a package.

There may well be better deals out there, but rather than trawling too much it was a deal that suited us!

Used vanrell earlier this year

Collected car from airport car park and left it in same place

Not the newest car but perfectly fine

Had an issue with the door lock and took it into the office in pp who did a straight swap for a newer higher grade car . We were in and out in 15mins.

Good value ; good service; empty/empty for fuel

Will use them again
