The council are working on the roundabout near Confort and Trebol, seems they are putting in plants and hopefully replacing the trees that were destroyed by the Palm Weevil.

Quite a few of those holes have just been filled in again SWS, nobody seems to know why .

Noticed them as well in December and was hoping that they would have the dead trees replaced. What a missed opportunity, the interior of PP could do with smartening up.

There's lots of work going on at the moment all around the town.

Lots of trees have been replanted infront of Trio and the roads around there down to the seafront. For those that like to know names of trees they are Acacia something or other,sorry can't remember the full latin name. !!!!

Some of the trees also carry the names of the family that have donated them, rather like the replanting of trees around Arta after the devastating fire there, which was organised by Eroski supermarkets, we have replanted three trees there in our name. Also, the word confort means comfortable in both French and Spanish, another word for comfortable in Spanish is comodo.
