Hi. Does anyone know when would be the quietest time during the day (and best day!) to go on the boat to Formentor end of July please? Probably a long shot but thought I'd ask. Thanks.

The ferry to Formentor is a must-do in my opinion.

The 11.00am sailing is always popular, and later afternoon ones the quieter, reflecting that you get less time in Formentor. Saturday can be quieter with it being a traditional changeover day. However, coaches are now arriving in numbers with guests from around the island, so it may be best to ask at the ticket desk (by the Stay carpark). Streetview link below;

Personally I would suggest choosing the day with the clearest skies - Arriving around the headland into Formentor always reminds me of the Caribbean and with a clear sky, the sea is the most beautiful shade of turquoise.
