Traffic Signs and Road Changes in the El Pinaret Area

Earlier this week somebody (presumably the Adjutament) turned up mysteriously one afternoon and within the space of a few hours created a whole new traffic management system between Carrer de la Xarxa and Avenida Paris. Both these roads remain two way and the former is now clearly signposted as the main route away from the coast road to Pollensa and Puerto Pollensa before you reach the coast road closure at Avenida Paris. All the roads between Xarxa and Paris are now one way. Judging by the direction cars are parked, lots of people are either not seeing or ignoring the signs but they are everwhere and very clear. I recommend people are extremely careful driving around here because judging by the frequency of horns going off there is currently a great deal of confusion !! If you are driving to the old set up you are very likely to find a car turning the corner on your side of the road.

They have been planning this for a few weeks.
They introduced an earlier closure of the coast road which caused havoc!!
Too many motorists getting lost as they turn into Avenida Paris!! They have been painting marks on the corners of the pavements indicating no entry etc.

I guess they've finally got round to putting them up.

It might have been worth warning of road closed ahead at Calle Bot!! and saying local access only!
