I assume Sparky the bar has re-opened after a refit/redecorate(?) which staff told me they were going to do soon when I was last out in October.

What exactly have they done? It's only just over a year old and I was puzzled as to what they had in mind.

Hi Nick, they re-open tomorrow 17th Nov. The coating on the bar top had to be stripped off and then many new coats of varnish were applied, which was a time consuming job. I think they also needed to have a break after the summer.

We went to the Thai Night last night, there was only one empty table. It was nice to see Lorenzo, Belladonna and her hubby who were also dining.
For starters hubby had the spicy beef salad and i had the soup, mains were, langostino stir fry for hubby and pork stir fry for me. I was too full for the coconut ice cream but hubby had it.
The food was delicious and there was plenty of it, thank you Ross and as always the service from Lee and Michaela was spot on with Colin playing some authentic Thai music in the background.

Well thats quite frightening to know! There are no ants or tics going on here, just Ant and Decs each night! SO glad the TV picks up English stations - albeit I kept getting the time differences wrong!

I like this bar great place etc. Just shocked so many of the people on here like it as its not a so called spainish bar!!! just goes to show if you get it right then people will use your venue. Tex mex take note
