We usually get a car as part of villa package. Typical the year prices go through the roof had to book it myself!! In my infinite wisdom decided to wait until last minute and hope things improved. Which as we all no didn't.
In the past we have used cars from all the usual companys mentioned on forum. Decided after great deliberation to go with Roig. No complaints in the past. Pleased to report still no complaints. Bit more expensive in the outset. Because the price you see is the price you pay. Lots of times in the past you get to the desk and your'e getting stung for excess waivers, wheels and tyres not to mention 60 euros for a tank of fuel. when this is to fill a small car it's very easy to feel your getting ripped off!! The biggest bonus of all no queue!!! The desk is on the 4th floor of the airport carpark where you cross for departures. It was all very painless, 2minutes and we were on our way. Definitely use them again.

Hi Jepset - we have used Roig on many occassions and never had a problem. As you say their price is all inclusive - what you see is what you pay.

Interesting that they have progressed to a desk now . Always used to be - meet rep at meeting point, briefcase balanced on knee, taking credit card imprint with the side of a biro!

Had 2 mishaps while using them. First, put wrong fuel in (down in Andratx) - not entirely my fault! They brought out a new car on low loader and took sick one away - no charge. Second, leaking radiator in Pollensa - again low loader with replacement from Palma within 3 hours

Hi GG we had Roig as part of our villa deal, its not really a desk in the car park, its more of a counter they stand behind, looked temporary, it seems to be shared by 3 or 4 smaller hire company, but certainly so much quicker than in the airport, great cars BTW never had any problems with them, excellent service, 40 Euros for a full tank of diesel in a Peugeot.

Booked Autos Roig through Villa Select about 6 times in the past - Very efficient service - never any problems - not particularly cheap but you get what you pay for.
Not been able to get out to Pollensa this year - interesting to note that the venue has moved on from the rep waiting for you in the Meeting point,

I wonder if the airport are trying to discourage meet and greet at exit doors.In the past, it could and did get a bit chaotic, not always easy to spot where you are supposed to meet, espescially if only one rep and they were busy. This arrangement much more agreeable.

I've actually never heard of Roig before, but will certainly look into them when we next come over. We're Goldcar diehards, but always have an eye for something different.
