I am coming to Alcudia end of April. We prefer eating lunch time and want to have mallorcan food. Any suggestions for the best, good value places around Pollenca, please?

IMO El Posito's Menu del Dia offers great Mallorcan food at an unbeatable price. 3 courses including wine for about 10 euros.

Good value places to eat

Ca'n Torrens 'menu del dia' is also very good value.
Easy to find too - as you look at the church in the main square in Puerto Pollensa, it's on the corner on the left.

In Puerto Alcudia itself, you can also get a very good 'menu del dia' at Bodega D'Es Port during the day.

And if you have a car, do try Menestralia, the restaurant by the glass factory, as they have a wonderful 'menu del dia' buffet with a huge selection of dishes to choose from. 9 euros per person if I remember correctly.

On the 'front line' in Puerto Pollensa I can recommend Brisa Marina and Los Faroles (think they have the same owners) - a three course meal with water and a glass of wine or beer is around 15E. They are both popular with locals and are particularly good for fish. I think Ca'n Josep is also meant to be very good value for the MDD but have never been.

i would recomend citrus (side street near burger king) very good value and lovely food :)

Totally agree about Citrus - just check when they are open! Also great value for money is Trios - last year about 15.95 including wine:) And dont forget the lovely Hostal Bella Vista which is a vegetarian restaurant - but not the usual veggie stuff - really imaginative and excellent food:) Just a shame about La Piazza closing:mad:
