The storks are back and brought a lot of snow with them.

Just looked at the webcam and they look so cold and miserable - hope the snow doesnt last too long

Bedding being sorted out this morning in the Roettenbach nest.

After sorting out the bedding and lot of standing around, one stork is firmly planted in the nest in Roettenbach this morning.

Had the odd peek the last few days, but will have to spend more time watching it now

The Roettenbach weather forecast for the next two weeks looks good, mild and mostly sunny, with some light rain from early May.

Had a peek at and got rewarded straight away with feeding time for the chicks in Roettenbach.
I saw 3 little heads bobbing up, but the nest is quite deep again this year.

Just had another look and it looks like there are 5 little chicks in Roettenbach, though two 2 of them are rather small.

I've been watching with little success but just had a wee look and saw 4 wee heads at Rottenbach. They look a good few days old as seemed quite big/strong.
At Hochstadt there are definitely 5 eggs but couldn't see anything at Lindheim and Heroldsbach!
Gosh, I'm never going to get anything done now...
