Wow! What a fab set meal in El Casinet last night!
We had the choice of a la carte or the 3 course set menu which costs 16.50 euros.
There were three choices for each course & we had chicken caésar salad & calamares to begin with. Both were huge portions and beautifully presented. For main course we chose suckling pig & expected to be served something quite small for such a modestly priced menu. However, both of us were served huge pieces of succulent suckling pig with a delicious crispy skin. It was far too much to eat so we brought half home. Ice cream & créma catalana finished the meal off. With a nice bottle of house rioja, a bottle of still water & bread & olives to start with, the total bill came to just under 50 euros.
