We tried El Meson when we were in PP in June after positive reviews on this site and we were extremely pleased.
We chose the 40 euro which had 6 tapas dishes, dessert and a bottle of wine. The food was excellent and actually felt more authentic than similar food on the seafront. The service was good and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will be back in 2015.
Give this place a try and do not be put off with the location or the view of a car park. There are some great restaurants that do not have a sea view.

I agree the food is great! We walked past this place for years it's not really inviting but a friend who is Spanish and has lived in PP for 40yrs took us there 5yrs ago and we always pop in 2- 3 times on our visits.

Following reviews on the forum, we had lunch there last week. Good food and wine, friendly staff and excellent value. We will be returning if not this holiday, certainly next.
