Hi Sparky,
Been looking online for weeks, browsing Long Term rentals, any advice on which agency to look at, Amco House seem to have a few ? I noticed that you rent, if so have you had the same property for a while, I am hoping to have a very Long Term Rental, do not want to be up and moving every 3 months ? any advice please, very grateful for, thanks
Lorraine :)

Hi Lorraine, there are a number of local rental agents on this link :-Rent Villas, Apartments from Agents in Puerto Pollensa, Mallorca Majorca.

Yes we rent on a long term basis but can't advise on or recommend agents as we did ours privately. We had known our Spanish landlord for 27 years before we moved here from the UK so he is a friend, we have a contract but there is no fixed term. A few of our neighbours also rent and have been here since we came but i don't know how frequently they renew their contracts.
For us the beauty of renting is that if there are ever any problems with the apartment electrics, plumbing etc we just phone Paco, he sends someone to fix it and pays the bill. I hope this helps but if there is anything else you want to know, just ask :D.

Hi, sorry couldn't find my original post, and will have a good look at your link, great that you are able to rent privately :-) thanks for you help

Lorraine, you don't say exactly what you are looking for. That might help some people who are maybe thinking of renting out their property.

Lorraine,
The good news is that if you sign a 12 month residential rental agreement then you are automatically allowed to stay in this property for 3 years, with an annual increase in the rent equivalent to the IPC (cost of living) increase (or decrease). This means you will not have to worry about moving around every few months, providing of course you find the property that suits your requirements.
As Sparky said, it would be useful to have an idea of your requirements, number of bedrooms, area, essential requirements, idea of your monthly budget.
Good luck.
