One last 'miscellaneous' update -
Popped into Los Faroles for beers on several occasions (so often that the beers were sometimes already on the way before we had sat down )
Went to Bonys a few times once for a cheap & cheerful lunch of beers & baguettes but also returned on other occasions for Sangria or cocktails.
Made it along to Bar Juanito for beers one day – nice local bar on the way to the big Eroski.
Several enjoyable visits the ice cream hut.
Sadly we didn’t make it along to La Bodeguiita or Gemini this time – wasn’t really a conscious decision but I don’t think sitting outside at Gemini will be quite as nice as it used to be now you have the noise from the buses….also, a good chance the staff would have still been hungover after Real won the Champions league final !
So, in summary – another fantastic holiday. As usual we didn’t have a bad meal or poor service at any point. Highlight meal from a purely gastronomic perspective was La Celtika and the other obvious highlight was the 1st night at El Posito – sipping that 1st G&T, catching up with friends in a favourite restaurant knowing another great meal is on the way ….. and this is just the start of the holiday – wonderful !

As I've said in the past I really recommend taking a little time to write a trip report - you get to enjoy the highlights of the holiday all over again as you write it. Plus, when you're planning where to eat on your next holiday you can always go back and re-read your thoughts from previous trips.

Fully agree (and thanks for this report). I always write a review of all our meals out, whether in the UK or in other countries - often posting them online somewhere but, also, just for my own record. I love going back over them months afterwards and remembering the good, the bad and the downright ugly. FWIW, in 2015, we ate in 131 different restaurants (excluding chains and repeat visits) - about half of them in the UK, the rest while on holidays.
