Miro Studios & Gallery

Just wondering - Has anyone been to visit the Miro Studios in Palma Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró a Mallorca? - I adore his art, loved the exhibition at the Tate but have never been to the Gallery in Palma.

It looks as if they have a car park so I wondered if it would be easy to drive there. I haven't been to Es Baluard either - another on my list... Has anyone been there?

Re Miro. Yes we have, I thought I had posted about it somewhere but it was a couple of years ago. We drove, and its fine if you're generally happy with driving lets say! Car park is a little small, so do go early. As for the exhibition itself. We went with a friend who was studdying architecture and he found a few bits interesting. I appreciate Miro work, so did like looking at the "real" thing, although the general feeling is that its a bit run down and not really looked after - anywhere! It is interesting, although we were disappointed with a few parts of the building and exhibition, but if you are a fan of the artist, then of course you have to go where the paintings and sculptures are on show.
