o'lume

We went to O'Lume last night to celebrate a friends 60th birthday.
There were 17 of us and Jaime had arranged the tables in a square, which was great because everyone could chat.
We had starters of fish croquettes, cheese and tomato salad and salad with warm quail.
Main courses were pork or fish, dessert was ice-cream cake served with chocolate mousse, cream, a raspberry sauce and fresh fruit.
Lots of wine, coffees and liquers were imbibed.
As always the food was great as was the service. Jaime told me he will be closing this Saturday night, they will then begin the move to the new place, so lots of work to be done, and the new restaurant will open in the first week of December.

Yes it is on Juan XX111 but goes through to Verge del Carmen, so it will have 2 entrances .

I've told a number of people about this restaurant in the past but most of them haven't eaten there due to the fact that there was no one else in the house when they went past! Hopefully the better profile of the new location will kick things off.

Hi Bella,
The entrance on Verge del Carmen is next door to Tots restaurant and the main entrance on Juan XX111 across the road from Bar Rumbo, i will go down there tomorrow and let you know exactly what is either side of it. Can't remember off the top of my head , must remember to take my rose tinted glasses off though .

Stop trying to make out you need the directions for your guests!!!!

LOL! Well YOU wont take me there any time soon! Seriously though, with restaurants and bars closing, renaming or relocating, the A-Z does need to be updated generally, and any copies in apartments do need to be altered. Theres nothing worse than looking at directions then geting there and finding its out of date. Hopefully Jane can amend the main one for us - pretty please!
