Great photos SC. Place looks just rustic enough to be authentic and modern enough to feel comfortable. Definately worth a try for those of us who didn't get to the old position! Thanks!

Hi Sea Captain,

Brilliant photographs, can't wait to get there, please post one from the outside.

Sparky - did you go to O'lume for your anniversary dinner?

Lucky,

Some friends invited us to their place on our anniversary, which was lovely, so we are going to O'Lume tomorrow, can't wait. Will post a full review on Monday.;)

Outside photo.

Yes luckyone,

I will definitely get an outside photo of O'Lume for you.

I will try to do it today :) .

Kind Regards

Sea Captain / Matthew

Brilliant photos, many thanks for posting them. I wish Jaime every success in his new location, I note the postal address is Juan XX111, is there also an entrance from the rear on Virgin del Carmen?

Will definately visit in February (if open) on our next visit.

Thanks for the photos. Having had a brilliant birthday party last month in the old location - can't wait to try visit the new one. All the very best to Jaime.

Thanks Sea Captain.

Photos are great, anyone looking at them would want to be there and sampling Jaime's hospitality.

You have just popped up on the Forum at the right time, so long since we'd heard from you, I thought you'd been shipwrecked or strayed off course somewhere!

Thanks again!

Porto;)

Yes I agree it looks good. If the food and service is up to previous standards then that is 2 out of 3. Unfortunately the only way to appreciate the ambience and atmosphere is by visiting. Lets hope it ticks all the boxes.

Adios

Dave

Went to the new O' Lume last night, it's a Tardis, from outside it looks quite small but inside the main area goes back a long way, then there is a large conservatory area where the lovely log fire is and then a big patio outside with a well and a water feature. Jaime said he won't be using that until Spring.
We had bread and butter, as always Jaime served a complimentary appetizer, a shared starter of Carpaccio de Pulpo, for mains i had Entrecot in Tarragon sauce and hubby had Dorado a la Vizcaina, all of it was superb. Water, a bottle of wine and coffees and brandies (on the house) the bill was €51.
The food and service were of the usual highest standard, the new surroundings are fantastic and Jaime was as ever a charming host. We had a lovely chat with him and he is really upbeat about the future.
Thank you Jaime and we wish you good luck in your new home. :D:D

Thanks for the review Sparky. Great to hear that the food and service were up to the usual high standards. I'm glad you both had a lovely meal. I can't wait to visit the new O'Lume, though July seems such a long way off at the moment.:(

Thanks for the review - it looks and sounds great, will definitely be trying its new location when next out.
