Arriving in the Port this Friday. I love to read all the latest review of who ate where. I take a list with me and try the restaurants that you have recommended. I have come to PP many times over the last 7 years and my favorite has got to be the Stay. A new one I tried in March 09 is La LLonga which I thought was almost on par with the Stay. My favorite Pizza is at Tolos, anyway i hope to post my restaurant review when I get back.

Hi Cat, I will be in PP from June 27th to July 11th. Have also read all the reviews on this forum. Have been in PP the last 10-12 years and there are a lot of nice restaurants I havn't even seen or heard about before. So I really look forward to give them a try:)

If you find yourselves in the Old Town do try Piccolo Forno (opposite the car showroom on the road into town) or El Temple (on the road leading up towards the Calvario from the little cockerel square). Both really exceptional in different ways and won't break the bank. El Temple is a particularly lovely setting for evenings - Piccolo Forno probably better for lunch. Oh how I wish I was coming with you!

Hi Kate1

Thanks for the recommendations. I'm spending a week in the Old Town in July and am planning to try both Piccolo Forno and El Temple as both seem to come highly recommended on here. Really can't wait now.

In old town, yes best pizzas in Picolo forno, also try la font, el temple brilliant. In PP try la fortalesa, can Andreu, El Posito and for Indian Mirch masala. Cheapest coffee in old town Hotel Juma and great service too (unless anyone knows different!!!)Between PP and the old town, L'Aup is brilliant, and a lot of people like can Pacienci

I've never tried any of the restaurants in the old town. I'll have to give them a try now. Only two days to go ( can't wait !) and the weather sounds lovely too !! thanks for all the replies
