Hi All,

Its been a while since we visited Pollenca market on a Sunday, but think its time the girls sampled a bus trip and a stroll up the steps to Calvari Church!! Can anyone confirm if it is the no. 340 bus we need and if so, does this stop outside Tamarells or would we have to walk down to the Port (we are staying in Pinaret area)?? Did I mention 3 days to go... yippeee.

Hi Darbo, you can catch it at Tamarells instead of the port, just check you have the right one as the Alcudia ones stop there as well, in fact thats a big tip to walk down and catch it there, it can be a bit of a bun fight Sunday mornings at the main port stop, so if you catch it at Tamarells you will be guaranteed of a seat, just don't tell anyone

Yes, do get on the bus at Tamarellls. We tried to get the bus at the main stop a couple of Sundays ago to go to the market in Pollensa. There must have been 50 people waiting there, and when the bus arrived it was virtually full and the driver only let 3 people get on. There were no taxis either, so we gave up and went for a drink instead
