Backs against wall a bit 2nd half and got fortunate with a disallowed goal in last minute that never would have been disallowed in England.

Great overhead kick for the disallowed Osasuna goal.Was not given I think because a Real Mallorca defender had attempted to header the ball just as the overhead kick was struck.

Good attendance as well just under 10,000

Another good away win against Majadahonda 1-0.Not the best game to watch but played two won two.Mallorca joint top

Robert Sarver the American owner has invested a good chunk of money into the club.He is currently trying to get permission to build a new stadium as the facility Real Mallorca play at is leased to them by the Palma town council.The council refused permission to carry out any refurbishment plans to the stadium.

Real Mallorca suffered their second defeat of the season to Albacete losing 3-1.Albecete opened the scoring going into the break 1-0.At the start of the second half things got worse for Mallorca when Antonio Raillo got given a straight red.Albecete took advantage of the extra man with a wave of attacks but Mallorca rallied and equalised.Midway through the second half Albecete took the lead eventually getting a third in injury time.Mallorca down to sixth in the table

So Real Mallorca qualified for the play-offs this evening. One league game left at the weekend will decide their final position but it looks like 5th. Malaga or Albecete will be opponents in 2 leg semi-final. Could be Barcelona and Real Madrid visiting town again next season.

Athletico Balearic missed out on promotion to the Segunda division on Sunday when a Racing Santender equaliser 30 mins from end meant they drew their second leg 1-1 and their opponents went through on away goal rules (in England there is no away goals rule for play offs so it would have gone to penalties if still same after extra time).

They still have chance to go up though and go through to the next stage in the incredibly complex Segunda B division promotion rules.

First leg against Albecete is at home on Thursday evening. Return is away next Sunday.

The finals, if they get through are the following week although who plays at home in which leg depends on who gets through.
