Thanks all for the very useful info on getting to PP from the airport.

There'll be 5 of us (3 kids) arriving at about 21:30 at night. If it were 4, I might be tempted to cough up the extra and get a taxi since the weans will be cranky at that stage and avoiding undue delays but would be great.

However, the cost (particularly the increased taxi-cost that seems to go with carrying 5) will probably be prohibitive so we'll probably go with the RH shuttle.

Can anyone help with simple question:

Is it easy it is to find the particular RH bus you want once you've landed (rather than, for example traipsing around among various coaches from different companies and/or different RH buses going to different places)?

Many thanks

Hi there,

we got resorthoppa on Friday. Your instructions tell you to go to their desk after passing through Gate B. You then see 2 desks 'ResortHoppa' & I think Viajes Urbis (same people). Each desk had the names of destinations e.g. Puerto Pollensa. Once you show them your voucher, they give you a piece of paper with your coach number on & direct you to where they are. There were only a few (ours was a mini-bus) with the number in the windscreen - easy! We had booked the Speedy Shuttle & were dropped off first but I really don't know if that made a difference or not.

Hope that helps!

Thanks, that's very useful - nice to know that, whatever about delays, we should be able to get on the right bus without too much messing around.

RH are, I believe the Principal co. you contract with throughout Europe, they in turn subcontract the service to local suppliers i.e Viajes Urbis. We have had some small hiccups in the past but on the whole it is a value for money service. But, with all such arrangements, make sure you have a plan B in hand.

cheers,

As a follow-up to this we had no issues with our Resorthoppa trip home. I checked in on line the day before as advised by the sheet handed to us on arrival. For a 15:50 departure the pick-up as at 12:40 (at the Oro Playa for us). When it arrived, the coach was full & we were the last pick-up which I think was due to paying for Speedy Shuttle so others passengers will have been picked-up much earlier.

We arrived at the hotel about 15 mins before time & I think they were about 5 mins late. We got to the airport in plenty of time.

So all in all an excellent service! :)

Used resort hopper this week .... not great, huge que at the airport then about 3/4 hour wait on the coach, huge double decker, thankfully we were the third drop off :(

Try "On The Beach" next time.Only two of us.Driver waiting for our arrival and obviously we were first off,and dropped right at our door.Total cost £15.26.

Was that one way per person Stevo?, i just had a look at their website and i see they also offer private taxi transfers but the charges for that were much more than any of the local taxis .

The cost of £15.26 was for one way.In other words it was £7.63 each.I forgot to mention in my previous post that we were brought up to PP in a 4x4car and not a bus so it was very comfortable.

Just did a comparison and ResortHoppa still work out slightly cheaper :)
