was emailed Stay's seasonal menus yesterday. One word.....YUM!

La Lonja have now announced that they’re no longer reopening La Cantina tomorrow but that they will announce “a definite date” soon.

Arriving early evening tomorrow - just wondering if Portofino was open? Realise many places are closed - maybe more than usual in the winter.

Hi Sparky - any idea when Portofino might reopen, and do you have enough info or think it would be worth revising the list at the start of the thread ? Thank you..

As i said, as far as i know Portofino is open. I frequently update the list as and when i get new info .

Sorry, Sparky - Think I’m losing the plot..

Sparky - Loqueria is also open. Not sure which list it should be in though!

Just to say- arrived on Epiphany early evening and expected not many places to be open but was surprised that the only places to eat was Burger King or Stay so opted for Stay which was very busy! Portofino in Pollensa Town is open but the one in the Port is closed for at least 2 weeks.

Can i just remind everyone that the list is subject to change, some restaurants are very good at informing customers of changes via FB etc but a lot don`t bother.

Portofino have obviously changed there minds about opening in the port which is good.
Went to El Casinet for late lunch on Sunday after gardening - it was packed! Had excellent lunch of Suckling Pig and Roast Rabbit(I know not everyone’s taste but succulent and delicious) washed down by a bottle of Mortitx. They are only open lunchtimes until 6pm ish.

Sparky - I’ve been looking at the map section (in particular viz restaurants) and it seems that none of them have been updated for some years. I think these maps are particularly useful for people who are not only new to PP but also, like our family, normally stick to the restaurants we know and are flummoxed when someone refers to or recommends a place unknown to us in a trip report, etc. Are the maps produced by the Tourist Office ?

Hi Teacu

We agree, the maps are so out of date now. We're looking into getting a new one produced for this season so we'll keep you posted.

:)
