That chill out buddha bar!

I'm sure I read about a kind of chill out buddha bar on here, but can I find the thread now? No! I've searched and searched, to no avail.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I need the name and location as it sounded quite nice.

I think you might be meaning the Orange Bar?

It's opened at nights at the top of the Daina pool area. Has nice sofas and tables, cocktail list and chill out music in background.

I've done some investigating on the Orange bar and I'm pretty sure I would've remembered if it had been linked to the Daina. I'm sure someone gave directions on the actual thread and it was somewhere around the taxi rank according to one person, but more towards Alcudia according to another person. I do remember feeling confused about that!

No, again I would've remembered if it had been part of the golf club. I've just done a search using Zhan and only two threads came up including this one. The thread on the bar I'm looking for described it as a kind of Moroccon style with laid back cushions or beds. The emphasis in the thread was around what it looked/felt like and where it was.

This is really bugging me now. I went through the first twenty five pages of the bar forum when I got in last night, with nothing coming to light. I'm having to stop myself from continuing anymore today as it's pure sunshine and warmth here and I'm on a day off. The dog is looking more and more impatient with me!

There's a chill-out bar in Cala san Vincente, just as you get off the bus quite near the mini-golf......looked like something from the sixties, could be called Cafe 66...not sure about the name but definetely chilled out with a Morrocan theme.

sorry just logged on for first time in days and saw your post, I originally posted about the chill out bar in Bonaire in 2007 and could have put you out of your misery days ago lol.
Not sure if still there, it was last summer as far as I know but don't remember Buddah being there.

Interesting point about buddha because i went to this bar looking for him but there was so much noise i coudn't tell "Talk from Buddha" Sorry folks!!!!

Thanks Simon, but the mystery has been solved now. It's in the Bonaire area, as descibed with the link on page 1 of this thread. I can't wait to check it out. The trouble is, I have a huge list of venues now and only in PP for a week before moving on to Deia!

Yep

They honoured their original quote, so we bit their hands off. I didn't expect to afford or justify returning there ever again. But it's special birthdays for us in May and we holidayed in the UK last year...I could go on with a long list of excuses to justify it!
