Hi
We are newbies to Puerto Pollensa going in 2 weeks time, and have really enjoyed reading all your posts about the great restaurants to try. Our 12 year old daughter Beth is vegetarian so we wondered if anyone can recommend dishes or restaurants we can steer her towards?

Hi & welcome to the forum.

Do read the Ref & FAQ that Jane has posted at the top of this forum. If you look towards the bottom of that page, there are 2 references to previous posts on vegetarian food. Another option is to search on this forum with the word 'vegetarian' & see what you find.

My husband is veggie and we've not had any problems finding food in the last couple of years. A lot of the Mallorcan restaurants serve Tumbet, which is a vegetable stew, some also do a mixture of roast veg I think. You can usually find veggie paella - a lot of places only do paella for 2 people but Centric on the square will do individual ones. Laroc do great pizza and pasta including some veggie options and last time we were there they had some fresh wild mushrooms and made him really delicious pasta with those.

Nico's Tex Mex do veg enchiladas and I think a veggie burger. The Indian restaurant on the square has some lovely veggie options - last time we went I think we both ate veggie.

Hope you all have a great holiday!

Myself and my husband are vegetarian and find no problems at Porto Pollensa. The best restaurant I have found with no doubt tho' is the TANGO - situated just behind the Hotel DAINA. The food is tremendous and even has Seitan which is really great in veggie cooking. Try the Escalops or Seitan Stir fry. My sister eats meat and she said her food was tremendous too. The service is great, everyone friendly and it's great value. I would eat there every night - its THAT good! In Contrast I found the Indian and Chinese restaurants quite mediocre and pricey too.
