Hi, we're staying at Ca'n Colet villa. Is it really within 15 walk to town and are there any supermarkets within a mile or so please?

The description mentions that it is situated on the lower reaches of the Puig de Maria which is the large hill with the Monastery on the top. It is over the main road from Pollensa and not that far from the centre, although the time to walk in depends on where on the hill it is situated! It says one kilometre away which is achievable in 15 mins easily. As for supermarkets, there are some in Pollensa along with the Sunday morning market.
The road up to the Monastery is very steep with difficult hairpins to negotiate. So if walking in takes 15 minutes, walking back will be a lot more strenuous and therefore will take longer.
The Port and beaches are a few kilometres away, 8k seems a fair representation. Also it mentions CSV beaches are 7k away.
Although we always stay in the Port, Pollensa town will have everything you need, except beeches and the sea.

Can Colet is not on the road that goes up the Puig Maria, it is the next tarmac access road along almost opposite the last entrance into pollensa, from Colet, if you walk down this road it leads into the Roser Vell which takes you into the town center, 10-15 mins easy.

My comment has merely acted as a catalyst for an informed reply! No one else had replied in the two weeks since the post!
That makes it much easier for them,if they are not already there! Its also a lovely area, walked around there and the Val de Colonya? many times.
