I saw an add yesterday on FB that said 10 euro per hour.

Yes Lollipop that is where i got the photo from but as it was obviously not taken in PP it makes me wonder if the organisation that posted it have got the price wrong as well ;).

I have just read that as well as the monster green thingie this will also be going in the water at PP

The monster green thingie is taking about 600 euros an hour at times (possibly as much even as the Chinese masseurs:)) so can't see them leaving anytime soon

Hi All. I thought I would join these forums to voice my views on this.

Unfortunately we do not live in Puerto Pollensa but we have visited it about six times. We love it there.

We have just returned from our latest week in the resort. This time we noticed in the distance a green inflatable thing in the sea and went to investigate it.

Its about 100m out to sea and my family and I went on it and absolutely loved it. So much so that we went on it twice during our stay. We found it refreshing that new ideas and attractions had made it to the resort.

As you can see from my footage its quite far off and certainly not in my opinion an eye sore

Absolutly well said Blackforce. Yes, the Port does need new ideas, and new ideas breathed into it or it will become stale.

We have had a lot of customers in the shop this year, all saying that they will be going elsewhere next year, as the port isnt offering everything that their young children and teenagers need. It may not be everyones cup of tea but we do have to move forward. We lived for years in Cuitadella (Menorca) which was viewed to the same standards as the Port of Pollensa is, Ie, no hooligans or party animals there. Cuitadella didnt move forward with the times, and for the last few years, have been on their knees due to lack of tourism.

We already have an abundance of young people leaving the area when they leave school due to lack of jobs, so when someone comes in with new plans to create work, it should be applauded as it is what is needed in the area.

For these not keen on the inflatable take a look at the massive one on Can Picafort beach and it will seem like a kids splash pool!

A family who love the water:). What a great video. Not for us unfortunately but if it is something that you enjoy.....fantastic:D

What a fun video! Real water-babes the whole family, and love the action shots holding the camera. Have to say, the Green Monster actually looks like good fun, thanks blackforce! :D

Rumour has it, (and Facebook photo!) that something else for the kids is being built on the beach! ;-)

Hiya! I have searched for it again but cant find it! It was a Share facebook photo from EMBAT, but they haven't got it on their own fb page. It looked like the start of a few wooden structures, the first of which was completed as a swing.
