There are plenty of shuttle/taxi options on this link Transport in Puerto Pollensa, Majorca - taxis, bus, trains, airport transfers, also look out for special offers here http://www.forum.puertopollensa.com/special-offers-late-deals-discount-codes-vouchers/ ;):D.

Hey Trevor. Yeah, it's feasible to walk from PP to Alcudia, the most direct route being straight around the bay of PP, the way you would drive and the route the bus takes. It takes just over an hour to get to the old town and about 1.5 hours to the port/marina this way, but it's not very enjoyable once past the main beach/Tango restaurant as you are essentially walking along the side of the busy main road.

If you have plenty time, and preferably a map, it's better to take the back roads, which adds about an hour, but it's far better. Check out my blog, for the entry dated 7th November, which takes a route over the mountain between the two (puig Sant Marti), although this is no stroll. Get the bus back!

Steve.

Hello from new member Paul

]Hello, remember me?

I am Paul Keyworth, ex Paul's Bar Jaume, Juan XXIII Puerto de Pollença .
from 1977 until 1993.... quite a long time and many moons ago!
Gone are the days of my cooking Steak and kidney pies and other English dishes for the Residents and Holiday makers.

I now live in Torrevieja, on the Costa Blanca.
Just past my 78th birthday but apart from being old and grumpy I am still batting along.

It would be nice to hear from old pals from that era.....
