WANTED: Wine Barrel

Hi,

Looking for an old rustic wine barrel, we've seen a few in the local vineyards but they want from €60 to €100 per barrel. Sounds a bit steep to me! Any advice on any cheaper?

Welcome popimages - I am not suprised at the price from the vineyards - barrels are not cheap. For a reasonable sized vineyard replacing barrels for a whole vintage can run into hundreds of thousand of euros
