Hotels near Palma Airport ?

Just got some flights at a decent price BUT they arrive into Palma at around midnight. We thought of stopping the night at or near the airport then coming up to PP at a decent time the following day. Has anyone used a hotel near the airport or know of a good cheap hotel in Palma on the airport bus route?

Years ago we stayed in Ca'n Pastilla which is pretty close - but we did drive there. You may get a good deal at a hotel with Alpharooms - see http://www.puertopollensa.com/TravelCompanies.html#booking The links may take you to Puerto Pollensa hotels but from there you can seach on any in Mallorca.

Thanks for that Pollensa, may well try that. A cab from the airport to C'an Pastilla won't cost too much, probably less than extending the car hire by a day.

To be honest, I spent a week in Can Pastilla many years ago, for the 40 minutes travel, I would head straight to PP and wake up in the best town on the island.

I agree with Mark. It is a short straightforward journey. We have done it many times in the small hours. Next day there is no hassle - you are there!

I agree as well with Sharon and Mark... far easier to drive straight to PP than faf about getting a taxi and checking into a hotel in C'an Pastilla.
