This is a new attraction this year...an open top bus which I think may come from Alcudia, but goes along PP sea front everyday. There is a Spanish guy on board doing a little tour commentary, and most days this week I've heard part of the same sentence as the bus goes by while I'm lying on the beach!

All I manage to hear is ' the weeend a blows the saaand from Puwearto Poyenssa........'

I'm intrigued so guess I'm either going to have to go on the tour or move a bit further along the beach each day :D ;)

Saw these, looks a good idea, and one from Palma, not sure if it does a tour of there as well, may do pickups in the port!

I had lunch with some local friends at Brisa Marina last Friday at 3pm when a heavy storm was passing through. Open top bus passed by - occupants didn't look too happy but gave the diners a good laugh!

Has anyone actually been for a ride on the bus?!

Saw the opposite - it was scorching hot and there was no shade on the top at all! They didn't look as if they were enjoying that either! :o

Friends of mine did it last week. Apparently it was rubbish. They missed out the tour of puerto pollensa and spent an hour just going round and round alculdia pointing out hotels and restaurants!! No one on the bus was happy

Oh dear, it sounds like a bit of a con. I was thinking of trying the Palma one but it has bad reviews on TA and apparently when a cruise ship is in the port you are lucky to be able to get on the bus and there never seem to be enough buses apparently. The only advantage seems to be that it takes you to Belvoir Castle which is a bit of a way from Palma but you can walk the rest of it! Bit like Puerto Pollenca really then you can hop on the bus to Alcudia!
