Great photos, we love that walk, one question, was the dog barking when you went past the house?

There was no sign of a dog , but we noticed a door by the kennel was half chewed away !!

The local environmental groups have done a good job clearing the beach again of all the plastic flotsam and jetsam, completely clear now, wonderful.

Almost hope they haven't removed the cairn or sculpture that had been formed from odd bits of timber, rope, nets, and yes, plastic that had been washed up. But I suppose they have.

I certainly hope they have. Anything sculptured out of natural items is fine but not with anything manufactured in my book.

The old gnarly trees are still there, it's just the plastic they have removed. Also noticed a lot of erosion on the drop down to the beach, must have been from the winter storms. On the way back we were treated to a flying display from a pair of vultures who were circling and calling to each other.

Is this a walk you could do on a mountain bike or is it too "ledgy" to achieve?

I have a feeling that bikes are not allowed, don't recall ever seeing them! the decent at the end would not be possible on a bike! unless anyone else has and info!!

Never seen a bike there and I don't think it would really be appropriate as it is a peaceful walk through a valley and sometimes there are Twitchers watching the birds etc.

I think there is an old sign near the metal gate but I cant remember what it says and I don't have a photo of it which is not like me.

Getting down to the beach on a bike would be tricky,

I think I do have a photo of it!! I will try and find it out, but the land is private, as all land is in Spain, they dont have public land as such like we do!

I did the walk last month, definitely not a biking trip. For a casual walker the last bit of the walk is quite hard work but well worth the effort. The beach is beautiful. I gather from this forum that there was a time when it got quite messy and unpleasant down there. That's not the case now. The only unpleasant thing we saw was a German bloke sunbathing in a thong!

We did the walk in March. Having spent a while recuperating from my frozen shoulder & not being very fit, it was fine for me but I used my walking poles - which really helped. Fortunately I wasn't the only one using poles so I really don't think a mountain bike would be quite right!

I did the walk a few weeks back and I am fairly certain that the information board by the by-pass says bikes are prohibited on this walk but I seem to recall that some of the other walks in the area can be done on bikes
